The Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (AUWSA) is a legally established entity responsible for the overall operations and management of water supply and sanitation services in Arusha City.
It is among of the best Authorities in Tanzania. The core function of the Authority is to deliver excellent water supply and sanitation services for all categories of customers and stakeholders in Arusha City. In order to attain its vision and mission, AUWSA is seeking to recruit dynamic, experienced, competent and qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts within the Authority’s establishment.
PUBLIC RELATIONS TECHNICIAN II/I: (1 Vacant Post)

PUBLIC RELATIONS TECHNICIAN II/I: (1 Vacant Post)
Appointing Authority: Management Committee.
Reports To: Public Relations Officer.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:
The successful applicant must be I have:
Holder of Form IV I VI certificate.
Holder of Diploma in Social Work I Sociology/Business Administration (Marketing), from a
recognized institution or equivalent qualification
Degree qualification is an added advantage.
Must have not less than three years of relevant experience.
Employment Terms: Three years Contract - Renewable upon satisfactorily performance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist to develop, design and prepare public relation materials, workshops, awareness programs and public participation activities. -
Assist in developing Public Relations plan in light of the approved Strategic plan
Assist in managing and directing the overall activities of Public Relations to ensure the implementation of the publicity and awareness programs, in a way that maximize the public understanding to AUWSPls accomplishments, and gains a positive image. '
Perform any other duties as may be directed by the public Relations Officer

- Ability to work under teamwork spirit, establish and maintain effective working relations with different people and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
