Position Description : A leading packaged consumer goods marketing and distribution company based in Dar es Salaam is looking for:
· KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (KAM )
· KEY ACCOUNT OFFICERS (KAO)
Requirements:
· Education:
- KAM : Bachelors/Masters degree in Business/Sales/Marketing
- KAO: Bachelors degree in Business/Sales/Marketing
· Experience:
- KAM : 5-8 years key account management experience
- KAO: 2-3 years key account management experience
· Existing relationships with major hyper/super markets and wholesalers
· Proven track record of generating business through Key Accounts and Wholesalers
· Experience of managing major national accounts at head office level
· Highly self-motivated
· Maturity and ‘can do’ attitude
Responsibilities:
1. Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target
2. Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
3. Manage and solve conflicts with clients
4. Interact and coordinate with the sales team, sub distributor and other staff members
5. Adhere to company’s policies and procedures
We are looking for candidates who have deep knowledge of Tanzania Key Account Market and can generate immediate business. Previous experience of working with well established national distributors dealing in consumer goods would be advantageous.
Candidates must be professional, hard working, energetic and honest. English communication skills are a must.
